The safety of our students, their families, our staff, and community remains a top priority for the District. In coordination with neighboring St. Charles County school districts, FHSD is implementing new bag guidelines to help enhance safety and security at ticketed high school athletic events. Beginning August 2026, all guests (including students) attending ticketed high school athletic events at Francis Howell Central, Francis Howell High, and Francis Howell North will be asked to follow the District’s new bag guidelines. Approved bags include: Diaper bags and medically necessary items (may be subject to search) Clear plastic or vinyl bags no larger than 12” x 6” by 12” One-gallon clear plastic freezer bags Small clutch bags that are no larger than 4.5” x 6.5” Unapproved bags include: Purses larger than a clutch bag Briefcases Backpacks Belt bags, crossbodies, or fanny packs Cinch or drawstring bags Computer or camera bags Ticketed high school athletic events include all levels of football, basketball, volleyball, wrestling, JV/V soccer, JV/V lacrosse, and track invitationals.
